Cherry Blossoms at Peak Bloom
Having spent a good part of my childhood growing up in Silver Spring, Maryland, DC will always hold a special place in my heart - especially the cherry blossoms! My birthday is in April and I always felt like they were blooming for me.
I was able to visit dc in February, which was fun, but I haven’t been able to visit during the peak of cherry blossom blooming for several years. Fortunately, Thip’s brother was able to visit right at the height of the season, as was my aunt, and they shared these beautiful photos with us.
You can be certain I will be there to see the cherry blossoms bloom myself next year!
Check out the National Cherry Blossom Festival website for information about peak bloom, which varies by a few days every year, but is usually late March, and fun activities to do while your in DC.
